What materials did you use? I used a set of Fat Eights and some scraps from my stash- the backing will be some old maroon scrubs of mine from work- done into patchwork also.

What are you most proud of? That it is for my MOTHER IN LAW- scary!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Have FUN FUN FUN! -- I will admit that the Missouri Star Quilt Company has a similar tutorial that is WAY easier than the pattern I followed. Not sure what it is called but it can be found easily.

this is adorable and looks easy enough to vary the size to your liking. LOVE IT!!! I simply love the colors.

love that the reds play off the browns and you didn't use all the same colors in both types of squares!

I found it quite interesting the contrast between this and another, your colors emphasizing the opposite of many versions. I prefer yours. :)
