What was your inspiration?
Some of the fabric was given to me by my aunt. It was bought in early 90"s. The pattern has that vintage look. I used some older lace on the yellow dress.
What are you most proud of?
That all my seams are nice, and flat! It is a very clean look and my zippers turned out, too. I have been sewing for about a year and zippers give me issues. I did learn to sew back in the 70's so I am always looking for those 70's patterns and fabric. I stopped sewing after that, gave it a try in the early 90's with maternity clothes. Then stopped again until about a yr ago when I bought a new sewing machine. The 1970's sewing machine finally wore out.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Press your seams. It was a nice pattern to sew.
