Having the summer off. I need to set goals otherwise the time just slides by.

Set goals and tell someone so they can keep you accountable. I've also started a blog, check it out at http://carreoncrafts.wordpress.com,

I wish I had more time. Hopefully I will when my son gets his drivers license and he can take himself to work. But for now I am thankful that he has a job., and will work on my quilts when I can. I just need patience and practice.

These are all so pretty. I am not familiar with Slice n Dice - is this the same procedure-different name as a stack n whack or a kaleidoscope quilt?

Kind of. Basic is match up the print in 4 layers but instead of cutting triangles you just cut squares. Then it is also put together in straight rows and then then cut and sewn back together to get it on point, very interesting. The site for the pattern is on my Cats and Chocolate quilt.

What size are the finished 4 square blocks in your slice and dice quilts. They look small - less than 6"?
