What was your inspiration?

I like how the inner cuff of the anklet can be used as a peek-through color beneath the lace and the split in the cuff.

What are you most proud of?

The split of the cuff is placed on the side of the socks so they are symmetrical when worn. You can wear the split either to the inner side of the leg, or the outer side.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Adult medium. 210 yards sportweight or DK weight yarn, 6 stitches/inch, size US 2 / 3.0 mm needles suggested, and 50 yards in coordinating or contrast color. Shown in Heirloom Cotton-blend Breeze yarn color Dusty Rose and Heirloom Cotton color Pink. Kits in several color combos are available from HeartStrings FiberArts.
