How well it turned out and how little time it took to make.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Read over the instructions before you begin - they are very well written, but you may need to look them over a time or two to understand what your next move is going to be. Also, when printing out the pattern, be sure to use a color printer - it helps when cutting out the different sizes.
