Started this and made it 2/3 through the first plasma section, before putting it aside and starting Magpie. First lace knitting. I completely respect the recommendation to not use crazy variegated yarn for lace work. However, it made it very easy to count stitches and I figured it would hide my inevitable mistakes. It makes me very happy, so thats what matters. It reminds me of a pencil holder I made long ago, with rainbow yarn glued around an orange juice can. 5/21 picked it back up, and finished plasma section. 5/24. Made it halfway through the bind off. Really wanted to finish today, but no. Maybe tomorrow. 5/29 the last two repeats are done. I had 6 extra stitches, which I distributed in these to spread them out. I will block on the weekend. 5/30 she is blocked and really beautiful. I had 13 grams of yarn left at the end. I love this project. It was very fun, I learned new things in each section, and im proud of the end result. Ill wear it lots.
