I was too chicken to do these feathers free motion - they were marked!

My studio is in our home, which is a real log house, so the pattern seemed appropriate for a studio banner.

Great piecing and wonderful quilting, even if it was marked. With so much quilting on it, does the quilt drape nicely or is it a little stiff? If you are going to use it for a wallhanging, it really makes no difference. Great job!!

Thanks, everyone. The wool batting fills space nicely but when heavily quilted, it is quite flat but not stiff. Two of the cabins have woodgrain quilting on the door and it's dense but they are flexible.

Marked or not, your feather work is beautiful! Love your closer view picture which shows all the gorgeous quilting.

Wonderful work! I have a queen/king quilt in log cabin and feathers would look really great on it. Guess I will give it a try.
