What materials did you use? 100% Cotton Fabric Guttermann 100% Cotton Thread

What are you most proud of? Putting together some of these blocks. They appear simple but not necessarily so for me. :-)

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Follow the instructor and use the correct tools for accurate results !

Thank you! It was tricky deciding on what pairs to put together. I wanted the spool shape to stand out. If the small, side triangles are similar in color to the top & bottom, the spool shape comes forward. :-)

i love your choice of fabrics!!!! reds, blacks and whites are always a great combination. haven't started mine me incentive to start on them.

These are wonderful Ladybev! I love your fabric choices. Each spool is definitely a spool - something I'm struggling with. You've inspired me to reassess my approach. Sorry I'm just now seeing these - Craftsy is no longer notifying me of new projects for many I follow. Glad I found these :D
