What was your inspiration?

I had made a quilt called Sweet Little Birdies. When it was featured by Craftsy in the newsletter I was asked for the pattern by some of my followers. Since I hadn't written one and the original quilt had been sold I decided to remake it and write the pattern.

What are you most proud of?

I love all these fabrics. I was glad to be able to find some more fabrics that rivaled the original birdie fabric for cuteness.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

it does use bias edges so just go slowly

Your fabrics are too cute. I will purchase your pattern asap. I would like to see the whole quilt. But that is probably on the pattern. What is the size of your quilt? I find that if you spray starch your fabric first before cutting, you seem to have a little more success with the bias. Great job, Thanks for sharing.

oops. The quilt will be 36" x 48". I do agree that a light starching helps with bias edges. Cheers. Karen
