This was my second take on my stellar pattern, which I wrote to find a fun way to use a skein of color changing yarn. I love making hats because they are fun and quick.

I really like that the pattern takes a simple, timeless technique but it really makes the yarn shine.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Take the time to check your gauge. Try the hat on as you go so you can make slight adjustments for your head size, if needed.
