What are you most proud of? I'm proud that I was able to fulfill his wish for a quilt and it turned our well for him.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? It was a fairly easy quilt to make. I just followed the instructions. I made it for him in 2008, and will have to look for the pattern source. Things got pretty scattered in my sewing studio during the past year of tornado restoration to it. It's still there, I'll just have to search through my many quilting magazines.

Thanks, girls. I appreciate your comments. Makes me want to share more of my quilts with you.

I think this one's my favourite (although I love all your quilts!).

This quilt pattern can be found on page 118-133 in Eleanor Burns hard bound book "Quilt in a Day-Still Stripping After 25 Years" / Fourth Printing 2006

Made this quilt too, twice, the first one was for my 8 yr old grand daughter, she wanted it in purple colors and the second one I made was for my 9 yr old nephew in different blue colors :)

I'll bet the purple quilt is beautiful. I love purple, but blue is my favorite color. Boys love quilts, too, don't they?o)

I neglected to mention-my little boy I made this quilt for is 50......;o)

I love your choice of colors! And I forgot to mention that your quilt is beautiful :)
