Instructions

Gertie does an amazing job. I am a novice sewer (could be the reasons for the puckers in the pics)! and I followed along easily.

Pink woolen fabric, horsehair fusible interfacing, fuchsia lining.

What was your inspiration?

What are you most proud of?

I had never done any of the techniques; first princess seams, collar, buttonholes, lining, etc.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Watch all the videos first. Then jump in and have fun. Do the hand sewing at night watching tv.

Is this class still available? I was thinking of taking it as my first class, but I couldn't find it, so I got the Couture class instead, but it made me wonder: if they stop carrying a class, can the people who bought it still access it?

So cute! I love your buttons. I'm also impressed that you churned this out as a novice sewer. I remember doing bound button holes on my third ever dress and I needed a fair amount of hand holding through that experience. Bravo.
