This is the first quilting project I ever designed myself. I used EQ7 and the Star of the East block and used the techniques so beautifully explained by Beth to create this cushion cover. I am now making a second version in reproduction red and blue colours. I have learned so much. Thank you.

Love your cushion and well done you on designing it yourself. I did a ribbon border on a Christmas table runner and think it is very effective.

Thank you for your kind comment.! I paper pieced the zigzag border. It was a bit fiddly as the pieces were very small, but yes, well worth the effort!
