I saw this pattern in the book in Hobby Lobby and just knew it would be the right balnket for a friend's baby!
The pattern calls for a G hook but I used an I hook because I wanted a larger square. This produced an 8" square. I also did hdc around the star square instead of the sc the pattern called for. On the eyelet square I did a round of sc all around the square

Finishing this in one week!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Make sure your star is facing the right way when you catch the tip in the sc of the next round
