Copper rings

Copper rings

Learn It

This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Micro Torch Basics »

Instructions

I used the big end of the chasing hammer for some of the rings and finished a few with the small hammer end. Gave a smaller hammer texture.

Difficulty:

Category: Jewelry

Type of item: Accessory

For: Women

Style: Funky, Casual

Materials

14 gauge round copper wire, micro torch, chasing hammer, ring mandrel, silver solder paste, superfine sanding paper, polishing cloth, flush cutters.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Don't solder too long. Becomes more brittle.
