What was your inspiration?
Blue swallowtail butterflies... and Spring Fling gave me a nudge to get this done.
What are you most proud of?
I finished it! Its been siting around since December. I wanted the wings to look real and the shape was just not right but then I added the felted wool body and this gave the look I was trying to achieve.
Pretty good for a first draft!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
This project takes some patience and time, but it will last a very long time! Its washable too... so it could be put on clothing, wedding bouquet or cake. Oh the possibilities
