A simple tube knit with a wonderfully engaging lace pattern which combines lace and cables to create a lovely bias movement. Fun to knit, wonderfully practical and it makes a great gift!

1 skein of Buffalo Gold Buffboo 50gr, 300 yds) (75% Bamboo, 25% Bison) Size 6 US/4mm circular needle Darning needle.

What was your inspiration?

I wanted to create a simple garment that was a satisfying but not frustrating knit, would keep my head and neck warm, and could be worn under a second hat or hoody for an especially cold day.

What are you most proud of?

This looks great on everyone, and makes a wonderful gift and a fun knit!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Work up a swatch following the chart, this will enhance your pleasure and make you feel more confident as you work through the project.

Annie, I remember seeing you for the 1st time on Knitty Gritty showing and demonstrating patterns from your book 'Men Who Knit & the Dogs Who Love Them', and am happy to see you here on Craftsy. If I'm not mistaken, that's your daughter modeling your gorgeous wimple...love it.
