What are you most proud of? I don't often follow patterns, so I was very pleased with Jan Krentz's instructions. I designed my own corners - seemingly the easiest part of the quilt ended up being the most difficult! But isn't that how it always goes ....

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Follow the instructions in the book. Okay, for the most part. LOL! I skipped over the whole template thing, but other than that, just take your time and following the instruction.

Spectacular! Yes you must finish and enter into your local quilt guild show! I'd give you the Blue Ribbon!

What's the name of your pattern? I would like to make this. I've done the plain lone star but not the spiral yet!

It's from a book by Jan Krentz - you can see it here: http://jankrentz.com/store-details.php?ID=2V

Love what was done with the lone star, spiralled gave it a beautiful effect. Very eye catching, thanks for the wonderful idea.

Thank you so much, but I can't take credit for the idea. I got it from a Jan Krentz book. The color combo is my own, but inspired by a spiral lone star done by Kim Brunner - you can Google it - she used bubble gum pin, lime green, and black and whites. AWESOME!!

It's from this book: http://jankrentz.com/store-details.php?ID=2 The color scheme is my own, but inspired by Kimmy Brunner's bubble gum pink and lime green with black and whites version here: http://www.kimmyquilt.com/gallery/4/
