Sorry for the late reply. I just baked a square sponge cake, laid a "4" template on top and cut it out. Then I iced it with white fondant. I then rolled red fondant and cut out the "4" template again and laid it on top. I iced black fondant trim around the edge and used runny white icing to pipe the spiderweb. The little character is a plastic one and was part of Stanley's birthday present :-) I hope you enjoy making this cake!
