Category: Other

Type of item: Clothing

For: Children

Style: Funky, Casual, Cute, Whimsical

sweat shirt, sweat pants, and acrylic paint.

What was your inspiration?

I work with a developmentally disabled guy who loves Spider-man, so I borrowed one of his comic looks and painted some of the pictures on a sweatshirt and the leg of the pants.

What are you most proud of?

The look on his face when I gave the shirt and pants to him!

I copied this picture from a Spider-man coloring book. I then traced the picture onto tracing paper with a charcoal pencil. Then the pattern was put onto the shirt by rubbing across it with a credit card. Once the pattern was on the shirt, I painted it with acrylic paint. Be sure to wash the shirt first, to remove the sizing.

This was actually for a man with Down Syndrome. He loves Spider-Man, and could not wait to put on the shirt and pants!!
