Icicle garland (Christmas tree decoration), sugar crystals, fondant icing, fruit cake, star cutter, Christmas wrapping paper to co-ordinate with the cake colours & to cover the cake board.
What was your inspiration?
A frosty Christmas & of course a Christmas star.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Cover your board with the wrapping paper & fondant the cake, before putting the cake on the board, this will give a more professional finish as the wrapping paper should not be overly wiped to clean away any icing sugar etc.
