Instructions
I use a computer program called CorelDraw to design the image, using homemade gumpaste i cut out the parts of Sonic with the Cricut Cutter & then "glued" them together. What was your inspiration?
This is one of two cakes made that week - for 5 year old girl & boy twins. I made Sonic for the boy and Hello Kitty for the girl.
What are you most proud of?
Sonic turned out so much better then I ever thought it would - I consider this one a favorite of mine.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
If you dont have the ability to design your cutouts then see if Cricut Cutter cartridges have what you need - a lot of them will use the same piece-work technique that I use. A must is a certain gumpaste recipe for the Cutter (at least in my opinion)!!
