I just chained about 100 and then hdc in third chain, chain one, skip one chain, hdc in next and repeated throughout each row. End with chain 2 and turn. I did about four or five rows. I crocheted two strands together of an alpaca blend by bernat and a ribbon yarn I found at my local yarn store. After all rows, I twisted the yarn and sewed the ends together.
