What was your inspiration?
I wanted something small to go with the handbags I've been creating. The little wallet is perfect for credit cards, business cards, cash. It's small enough to fit in most any bag. The matching make up bag has a clicker closure. The various sets are all different sizes. Please see them at Pardon My Bag for exact sizes on each.
What are you most proud of?
Just the satisfaction of creating something out of recycled fabrics that would otherwise have been thrown away. I love mixing and matching these sets with the drapery and upholstery sample books I've aquired.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Patience is helpful. The wallet is small and easy to do but the turning right side out is harder if the fabric is too thick. Otherwise it is a lot of fun to do.
