Adding beads with a crochet hook.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

It would look better if knitted in the round, but I'm still perfecting that.

I've been working on adding beads in crochet, but haven't figured out how not to make them pop up. I want them to lay even with the work like yours. Can you share you used the crochet hook to add the beads?

I did this knitting, so not sure it will work the same. I use a very small crochet hook that will go through a size 6 bead. Determine where you want the bead to be, load the bead on the crochet hook, take the stitch you want to apply the bead to and pull it through the bead. Put the stitch back on your left needle and purl your stitch. You could knit the stitch if you wish the bead to lay on the opposite side. Not sure if this will work in Crochet. If it does, let me know. I watched You Tube videos to learn this so maybe there are some out there for crochet.
