The triangle shape was difficult to tie, so I invented wings for the scarf. To maintain the slant of the top edge you need to INCREASE 1 stitch on the top edge and DECREASE 1 stitch on the inside edge each right side row (maintaining slipped rib pattern as best you can). Use a right slant decrease for left side wing, and left slant decrease for the right side wing.
