What materials did you use? Studio One Hand-Dyed Yarn- I bought a few hanks of some lace-weight cotton yarn from an indie dyer when I was at Tempe Yarn and FIber, visiting my sister in AZ. I really like the colors, but it's very soft and fragile, so I actually went through and added more plying twist as I went so the yarn wouldn't fall apart. The pattern I used is available at http://web.archive.org/web/20130329132002/http://www.be-stitched.com/bookmark.asp if the other link doesn't work. I followed the pattern for the first row, but when I tried to do the second, it looked much too busy with the multi-colored yarn and the pattern competing, so I made up a different round 2 that was only chains to keep it simple.

What are you most proud of? Making up my own pattern after the first row & figuring out a solution so I could use the thread I liked
