Started with Silver metal clay, final product is fine silver. And a sterling silver chain.

What was your inspiration?

This was a gift for my sister Melissa. Her name means honey bee in Greek and she is also a huge fan of Egyptian history and art so I combined the two and create a Cartouche for her that depicts an Egyptian honey bee with a lotus flower.

It's also my first project using silver clay and was a bit of test to see how I liked using it. This stuff is pretty awesome, I love how you can work it just like pottery clay but it becomes fine silver after its fired allowing you to work with it like silver. I will definitely be doing more projects with it in the near future :)
