She Wears Flowers ~ Necklace

She Wears Flowrs~Necklace

She Wears Flowrs~Necklace
Difficulty:

Category: Jewelry

Type of item: Accessory

For: Women

Style: Romantic, Whimsical, Cute

Materials

Chain, button, cabochons, charms, glue, etc

What was your inspiration?

I wanted to create a fun and cheerful necklace for spring and summer using the cabochons and charms I had.

What are you most proud of?

I think I was able to achieve a whimsical and ecclectic look without being too overwhelming. I love how it turned out!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

It took me a while to decide how and where I wanted to place the parts. It will be helpful to lay the parts out before you start glueing them.

I understnad that this is not a PROJECT with INSTRUCTIONS. Would it be possible to see a photo of the backside of this beautiful necklace so that we can get a "feel for "how-to"" complete it ourselves? I am especially interested in this as I have a few SUITCASES full of vintage jewelry from my past life as a Vintage Jewelry Dealer. Thanks!! :)

This is beautiful! Can you tell us what type of glue you used and what you used as a base to glue your cabochons to. Thank you for sharing!

I would like to know also, but it seems no one asking questions is getting a reply here. Why is that I wonder .

The glue that I used is E-6000. That thing is amazing. The base is just a flower shaped piece of metal that I had.

I just had a flower shaped metal base left over from another project. I've tried to look for the name but can't find it. I don't know exactly what to call it, but it was just a flower shaped metal based.

Thank you everyone for your nice comments! Sunny1Sally- About your question...because the parts I used are very small, it is easier to place them closer to each other.

How do you keep the flowers close enough to the chain so they don not move?
