What are you most proud of? All in all, I think this is the piece of work I am most proud of ever, in all my (many) years of sewing. The choice of fabrics in particular. I didn't send for the kit from the US due to the high postage to the UK and import duty so chose my own fabrics. It took some time and lots of bolts of fabric being auditioned on a table in the fabric shop! I chose Nottcutt's Stonehenge fabrics, Robert Kaufmann's Fusions and Jenny Beyer palette. There are about 70 pieces to be cut, placed and stitched. I just love the way his nose looks like velvet and seems so 3D you could stroke it.....

all your animals are beautiful, you should be proud. I recently bought the tiger pattern to try with my own choice of fabrics, now just need the courage to start it
