First quilt using Babylock Sashiko machine and free motion quilting.
What was your inspiration?
You may recognize this pattern as one that is usually used in a beginning quilting class. My granddaughter picked out the material. I took the class a long, long time ago. I finished the top but planned to send it to a long arm quilter. After taking several Craftsy classes I had the confidence to finish it. She doesn't know I finished it so I can't wait to give it to her!
What are you most proud of?
Actually finishing the quilting on a project this large. I had fun trying to use my new Babylock Sashiko machine. It was a challenge but fun. I have a LOT, LOT, LOT to learn. I have a LOT, LOT, LOT of mistakes on this quilt but I am just proud to finish it and learn from it.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Just have fun!!!
