Here are some details about my project:
Category Quilting

What materials did you use? Benetex cotton fabric, fussy cut butterflies from fabric stash, satin cording, felted yarn, rick-rack, embroidery floss, beads.

What are you most proud of? The quilting! I am coming back to sewing after a hiatus of 15 years, and am just learning to machine quilt. Free motion quilting is proving quite a challenge!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Practice on scraps, but practice, it's the only way to improve.

I love the butterflies! Nice combination of machine appliqu and stupendous stitching!

Thank Carol! My machine, Babylock 1550, doesn't have very many decorative stiches, so I find that I have to use other elements.
