What are you most proud of?
The interchangeable sash. I made the purse so I could change out the sash anytime I want a different looking purse without having to switch out my purse.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
After taking this class I realized how easy it was to make any kind of purse I wanted! She lays the concept out very simply, and shows you how to add hardware to make your purse look more professional. Before I made this purse I sketched out exactly what I wanted it to be - including color, pockets, type of handles, the hardware placement, and the complete measurements. I was then able to sew it up in a few hours without any complications :)
