What are you most proud of? How quick and easy this pattern is to make due to the quick-fuse applique method. I actually think this is a great mug rug to leave out on Christmas eve with a glass of milk for Santa and a carrot for Rudolph!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? I used felt for the beard and bobble but linen would also work well. Often for projects that require white fabric (i.e. Ghostly Duo Mug Rug, Relaxed Santa Wall Quilt, Spring Lambs Mug Rug) I use white linen from a store purchased table cloth - the linen is heavier than normal quilting cotton and washes very well.
