Instructions

Instead of ribbing for cuff, I just did 3rows of garter--and when sock was done I picked up around the cuff & knitted 4 or 5 rnds. with the white stuff. Also did 2 st i-cord loop.

What was your inspiration?

Old fashioned Christmas stockings - red with white furry cuff.

What are you most proud of?

Improvising the fluffy cuff. It actually worked.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

I first started out by knitting as usual, only w/the white yarn. Well, 24 sts. in that bulky wt, and the cuff was huge. Started over...then just picked up sts w/white fluff yarn and eventually folded it down and stitched it in a few places to hold the cuff in place.
