What was your inspiration?

The instructions in Modern Buttercream, combined with the delicious Flo's Devil's Food Cake and my friend Sandy's special birthday and love of flowers seemed like an opportunity too good to be true.

What are you most proud of?

It was time consuming to stack the cakes correctly, but it was well worth it.
The cake tasted great!

Very nice, what size pans did you use? And how many layers?

I used 8", 6" and 4" pans. The largest cake had four layers, all weighed and baked individually. The next had two layers and the top was just one layer.
