This is beautiful. I really identify with Sandhill cranes, as I grew up in Idaho where they always arrived as early spring hargingers! I go "home" to my families' ranch to see the huge nite sky and listen to the sandhill cranes late in the evening and early in the morning! They are part of my life soul. Thank you!

What a wonderful story, damajana. I'm glad I could take you back to your roots with a smile on your face, even if it was only with a quilt. :)

Wow! That is fantastic - thought it was great before I saw the finer detail of the stitching!

This quilt will hang in my mother's apartment in KS. She was mentally and emotionally involved with every step of the process. She deserved to be able to see it close up and show to her friends.
