Materials
I used cotton scraps from my stash. I needed to buy just a little more fabric for the backing and to get the right look. The colors were chosen to coordinate with Ruth's decor. This was the first quilt I made with my new sewing machine. I used a decorative vine stitch in the sashing when I quilted it to mirror the print on the backing.
What was your inspiration?
Ruth is such a beautiful person and sweetheart! She is also the Mother In Law of my Best Friend.
What are you most proud of?
I completed this quilt relatively quickly. Winter was coming and Ruth needed just a little something to keep the chill off her legs.
