These ruffle aprons are everywhere! I love them so much!

What are you most proud of?

This is my first time attempting ruffles. I'm glad I did because they as hard as they seem!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Don't try to rush. Take your time and measure measure measure!!!!

Thank you! I agree, they would make a wonderful hostess gift. Because who doesn't love ruffles, right? I do use a ruffle foot. It looks extremely intimidating but once you get the hang of it you will NEVER gather by hand again! This apron was the first time I actually used mine, aside from practicing on scrap jelly roll slices. lol. I find that ironing a 1/4 in hem along the top of your ruffle piece makes the end result cleaner. This apron is a little labor intensive. But it comes together rather quickly once your hemming in done. You can just do so much with it. Have fun!
