Is this your project? Can you share instructions or a pattern with the Craftsy community?

Difficulty:

Category: Other

Type of item: Home Decor

For: Other

Style: Whimsical, Formal / Bridal, Funky

Materials

galvanized wire, wool fleece - white and colored, cloth,

What was your inspiration?

I made this the same weekend of the Royal Wedding in England!

What are you most proud of?

There is always a point when I will want to give up. The whole piece looks awful and there's no way it will turn out the way I want it to.... then it does.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Don't give up! I'm hoping to get instructions up on my website for many felted projects soon!

I have instructions for a couple of figures on my site - a bunny and a penguin. As it is much easier to show people how to do this rather than write it down in such a way that it's obvious what must be done, I am hoping to have an instruction video at some point. Some figures have a wire base underneath the wool to support the detail. Bulky figures like turtles do not need wire. Start with one of those.

I added a comment above. Wish I could just invite everyone over for tea and we could just work together and have fun!
