Share a little about the materials, processes and techniques used to create this cake: Used the cake recipe from Baking Basics, the chocolate filling from that class too, and the buttercream directions from the Buttercream class. I made the cake layers two flavors; yellow and orange. I didn't use the frosting comb on the sides and put blue glitter on instead of sprinkles (I didn't have either). I also wasn't happy with the top edge, so I added a border there. This cake is 9" in diameter. The purple shades should have contrasted more.

What are you most proud of? Overall, it's a nice cake.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Definitely use a turntable. Helps a lot. Have several frosting bags, and several couplers in both regular and large for the M1 tip to avoid having to change out the coupler when switching to another color.
