What was your inspiration?
My mom, auntie & grandmother decorated their homes with needlepoint. It is a sturdy yet practical art form. I love watching my 'fabric' come alive underneath the needle. The ball of yarn in the picture is for my long-suffering cat - Tulsie - he waited patiently for that lovely wool yarn to belong to him!!
What are you most proud of?
This project took me 10 years! But I never gave up on it. It will soon be a pillow
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Get a good project bag because this is easily portable. Can't be done anywhere with dirt! All that cream is a bit fragile!
