What is exciting or interesting to you about your photo(s)? I think the way the roots have grown up is very interesting and cool.

Cypress knees are a fascinating part of nature, and something scientists have not quite figured out as to what they do (they once thought they provided air, but now they are not so sure). This is a nice tight image that uses shallow depth of field to emphasize the foreground. A challenge you are facing is the overlap of the foreground knees with some knees behind it. This ties the foreground to the background, even with the limited depth of field. If you were to move just a little to the right, you could put the foreground knees against the white area and give them good separation.
