What was your inspiration?
I was inspired by my mother-in-law Rose to knit a romantic, rose-colored lace top for her for Valentine's Day. The heart-shaped beads add just enough contrast and sparkle to make it festive, yet still very wearable.
What are you most proud of?
The heart-shaped beads perfectly accent the lace without overpowering it.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Don't be afraid to experiment with lace and beads, separately or together. Less is more.
