What are you most proud of? That it fits and it works. Thank you Susan. Next,I need to be more vigilant to get it perfectly square.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Measure, measure, measure. Use a square. And make sure you don't cut through whole shade when doing final cutting on the top!

I definitely need a cornice box or box pleats on top. I bought this material sold as a remnant. Now I have to see if I can order more.

Your shade is very pretty! Check your window opening to make sure it is square... it might not be your measuring it might be the window opening. :) Now that you have made one shade, the next one will be much easier. Thank you for sharing your photos!
