Learn It

This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Bag-Making Basics: Reversible Tote & Zipper Pouch »

Instructions

you may want to cut the strips for the handles a little longer to allow comfortable space for "larger arms" ;)

Difficulty:

Category: Sewing

Type of item: Functional

For: Unisex

Style: Casual, Classic, Cute

Materials

100% cotton fabric. Solids and prints.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

I think I'll try adding interfacing for more stability next time. Or even a thicker fabric. Also, I think I'll add some machine embroidery too. The bags with the solid top are perfect for personalization!

The middle one is canvas fabric. I found the canvas to be much nicer than the cotton for these bags. More sturdy.

You've probably been asked to sell them, I'm sure. They look very professional.

LOL Thanks. I still have all of them. My 1st grader started to use the "Minnie Mouse" inspired bag for school. I added some machine embroidered applique to jazz it up some..
