Recycled Paper Gift Wrapping

Recycled Red Spot

Recycled Red Spot
Polka Dot Cutie

Learn It

This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Paper Arts »

Instructions

I followed the simple instructions Alton gave in the first lesson.

It was my first attempt and although the items being wrapped were in boxes that had been knocked around (so my edges weren't sharp) I am pleased with the results.

I used plain craft paper, recycled paper from a gift and matched it with the wire ribbon - cute as a button!

Difficulty:

Category: Paper Crafts

Type of item: Home Decor

For: Home

Style: Retro / Vintage, Cute

Materials

Plain craft paper, recycled spotty paper & wire ribbon.

What was your inspiration?

The recycled spotty paper was my starting point and wanting to use the colour red in the wrapping - the gift recipient loves red!

What are you most proud of?

Looking at the items I already had with 'new eyes' after watching and listening to Alton.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Watch all of the lessons Alton gives - it is inspiring.
