What was your inspiration?
To make a Cross Body Bag from recycled Denim. I used pieces of two different denims as you can see from the difference in blue. The front and back of the bag were cut out of the two legs of one denim. The inside pockets are the front and back pockets of the denims. The straps were cut from the leg of another denim
What are you most proud of?
That I draw a pattern from photos that I saw on different web sites. I am real proud of my Denim Bag.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
The project are not very difficult. You just need some patience - especially when you pin and sew the really thick parts. Remember denims are thick material and one or two layers are easy to sew, but later on the layers are more (the parts where the interfacing, facing and denim are sewn together).
