Materials

Batiks for the star and a lightly patterned cotton for the background.

What was your inspiration?

I loved the possibilities with this pattern and I wanted more of a challenge than other BOMs I've seen.

That it actually worked!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Love this and love the fact that you used batiks (my favorite fabrics!). I've always been intrigued by the Lone Star design and now have a daughter living in Houston - might just have to give this a whirl! Thanks for posting this!!
