What was your inspiration?

One day when I was in my local patchwork shop a lady had a bundle of raspberry, white and grey fabrics. I loved the combination so much that I had to design my next quilt around them.

What are you most proud of?

Pretty proud of all my half square triangle points. I tried to be really careful when cutting and sewing so I would be happy with the end result.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

This is not a difficult quilt to make. There are no tricky techniques. Just triangles, squares and rectangles. Just take your time and you will be happy with the results. Choose colours that you love and really make the quilt 'yours'.

Thank you for those lovely words. I like patterns that look complicated but when you look closely they are actually simple. Makes you appear very clever!!!

Nice pattern. Amazing what you can do with triangles. It looks very complicated, but I can see that it is really quite simple, just well put together. I like how you used the different reds with subtle patterns. I like to do this too.
